That adapter allows you to connect speakers to your factory harness.
I used that when i changed out all my interior speakers.

Definitely worth using since the length of the sub cable is short.
You connect the harness to the plug. Then a LOC to the ends of it.
From there you use RCA cables from the LOC to the amp.

You will still need to run a power wire and remote wire. In addition to ground.

Sorry man but I don't get it. I thought this adapter was for interior speakers. How can you use it for the subs?

^^^^

all it does is make it so you dont have to cut the plug off

aftermarket speakers have simple posts for the wiring to be solderd on

oem speakers (of any car company) have propriatary connections on the end of the wiring like a ps2 connector for your keyboard and if you get the ps2/usb adapter to plug it in anywhere
