hey guys quick question my cousin is doing the nexus 7 swap in his 05 tl non nav what did you guys use to cover the gaps when moving the hvac screen?

 

Is he moving it down to below? I think people just use clear lexan and paint the parts that dont need to show

I'm working on this now.
I bought a sheet of Plexiglas from Home Depot for less than $10. I cut off a rectangular piece large enough to fit the gap and super glued it in place. I then taped-off the surrounding areas and spray-painted it black.
