question about the backup camera

is there anyway where i can turn on the backup camera without putting it in reverse? i just thought it would be cool if i can turn it off and on while im driviing.

theres a thread on this in the audio sub-forum:https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/looking-06tl-camera-686867/, but thats if you have the aftermarket one. If you have the factory one, there is a wire you need to ground, search for it.
