Question on 3gen Navi

I test drove a 2008 TL yesterday and an MDX. Any idea why the audio for the navi in the TL comes thru the center dash speaker, and not the regular stereo speakers like the MDX?

Also, can I use the voice controls with the navi to say : find destination 123 SMITH STREET, Anytown, USA?

Cool

Traded my 06 TL for a new 08 just 10 days ago. I can tell you that the navi voice system is much improved, including working with address search and other on-screen tools. More options (lots of help, normal, and low help) for voice feedback, color setup, and more. The HF quality is also about 50% improved from previous.

it most likely comes though the center speaker as it would be easier to hear as it is much more elevated. Though, they may have changed it in the MDX for the Nav voice as people complained about it. If you are talking about audio for music, then the TL had Dolby Pro Logic II enabled and it was disabled on the MDX, this simulates 5.1 audio from 2.1
