Problems with FM/AM radio and rattles with subwoofer

Now I dont really listen to the radio anymore, but ever since day 1 its been static y on and off ...anyone can guess a reason why my radio sucks?

I heard that theres this type of metallic tint that kills your radio signal..and the dealship did put a weak coat of tint on my car...could that be a factor?

Also, I typicaly listen to hip hop music, and apparently the Bass of the car cannot handle my music...is that standard or what? [ i put my settings usually as Bass +3 Treble +4 Sub +2]

the metallic tint is throwing off the signals since the antenna is in the glass. The sub rattle is normal, the dealer has to foam up the rear deck and might have to replace the center seatbelt retractor.

Make sure the FM antenna is plugged in. The bodyshop left mine unplugged along with about 50 other things. I had very little FM reception, only a couple local stations. It's on the driver's side, under the quarter panel that runs along the rear window line. You have to pull the "airbag" plug out to get it off (not the actual airbag).
