Problems with DDM Slim Kit.

Tried installing these in my fogs over the weekend and when both were plugged in they flickered like strobe lights. However when just one was connected, it worked properly.

Do I need resistors? I tried emailing DDM directly but I'm going on day 3 with no response. What else could be the problem here?

Thanks.

Did you put these in your headlights DRLs? or really in your foglights?

I have the same kit in 9006 and want to put them in my DRLs in an 04. Wondering if I'll have the same issue?

04 has fogs not DRLs. And it should be fine, just make sure you use a relay so you don't burn through you stock wiring. If you do have DRL's (upgraded to 07-08 Headlights) then your connector type would be 9005 and HID's might be too hot and melt the bezel so be careful.

I'm done with using DDM. Though they stand behind their products and lifetime warranty their ballast/bulbs inevitably start failing at the 1 year mark and it's just a pain for me to keep dropping the bumper everytime to replace.

This time I just did Lexus oem
Ballasts and oem philips debased hids and I've had zero startup problems. Both sides start up everytime at the same time. I'm much more happier.

i have been using ddm tunning slim ballast on my DRL lights (i have a 07-08 type s front) headlights and foglights. i have not have a single problem with it. i always messing replacing a higher or lower K color of bulb and to replace it in the headlight or fog is very simple, 10 minute job and do not have to remove any bumper. headlights bulb from the hood and fog lights from the bottom.
