Problem w/ Navi Screen...Help!
So here's what happened. I was at Wal-Mart the other day and bought this plug in Ionizer thing for my car just for the hell of. When I get out to my car I take it out of its plastic case and go to plug it in to my cigarette lighter adapter(the one in the 2nd drawer under the navi screen). Well as I was pushing it in it flickered a couple times, like it was powering on and off, it was a tight fit. All of a sudden my Navi screen went BLACK. I tried turning the car off and on w/ no results. The HFL still works as does the actual voice commands for the Navi and other voice commands for the car. I can still here the navi loading up when I start the car. All the buttons light up still and the backlight on the screen lights up as well. Now what I noticed doesn't work is the cigarette lighter socket. I push the lighter in and it won't get hot. My question is what did I mess up? Is it just a simple blown fuse? I checked the owner's manual and it doesn't specify a Navi screen fuse. If there is one can someone chime in as to what # it is. I have the Navi Screen Hack, even though I've had it for a while w/o probs, could that be causing it? I'm hesitant to take it to the dealer as I have an AUX adapter and I'm sure they'll just try say it's my fault. Please help!
Yes, I bought the TL used but that was almost 2 years ago. I looked down in in the fuse box yesterday briefly but all the fuses looked intact. Does anyone know which fuse # that cig lighter one is? The owner's manual is useless. I can't decipher the 2 and 3-letter abreviations it says for each different fuse. I'd spend more time playing with the fuse box and trying to figure it out but it's so damn cold out
