Hello all. I just purchased the Motorola Rival and can't get the phone to pair. I get to the point where the HFL recognizes the Rival and asks what I would like to name the paired phone. After I say the name, such as "Motorola", the HFL ends the BT connection, so the pairing process does not complete. Any advice or hints to get this phone linked?

You are almost there. Make sure you finish the pairing process on the phone, before saying the name. You have to be fast. You can't take your time. My phone did the same thing. I have a Cingular 8525. I had to hit finish on my phone before saying the name. It worked fine.

 

Have you had other phones paired with it?
