I am installing a SIRIUS Starbase SC-FM1 in my 08 TL. The power connection calls for connecting a switched as well as unswitched power source. I believe the unswitched is to maintain the battery memory but not sure. Two questions;

1) Does anyone know if the unswitched connection is required?

2) Does anyone know a good source for unswitched power?
