Is it possible to fast forward a CD?

Is it possible to fast forward or rewind part of a song on a CD (NOT go to the next song or prior song)? On my BMW, if I press and hold down the next song button, it moves forward winds part of the song. Any info will be helpful.

Too bad the steering wheel controls don't work the same way (ie, holding down the next track button does not fast forward within the current song)...

I doesn't look like anyone answered the question except ndx2yeah, "im not too fond of the tiny seek buttons."
Use the seek buttons that are marked "+" & "-". I only found this out a few weeks ago on a different thread and had always wondered. Works as designed!

ehdee21 answered the question by instructing zigurat to do the same in his TL as he did in his BMW...
