Question Is this possible?

I'm installing a standalone DVD player in the trunk. Is it possible to connect an audio interface to the XM radio in the trunk?

it is possible, however the volume will probably be very low. Someone did a write up in 2006 with a few pictures, they used 4 relays and some wiring if memory serves me correctly.

I would think it could be done given that the music link adapter has a plug that allows you to send in new signals to the head unit. If you tie into that, then you could theoretically get your signal up there on an aux channel. I don't have any schematics for it, but where there is a will, there is a way.

thanks guys, i went ahead and took the not so easy route of running rca's to an interface behind the radio. Took me 4 hours. but if I had to do it again, it would only take 15 mins. smh lessons learned
