Please post you JL 500/1 settings

Just installed my JL 500/1 amp and 10W6v2 and was trying to tune it in. Can you give me some ideas as to what setting are optimal for using this sub while maintiang factory stereo and speakers.

Thanks

there are alot of factors involved in tuning a sub.

I'm assuming you're using an OE headunit and OE speakers? Your source is the rear speakers? Was the box built small or pretty big (different types of bass)?

until you figure it out, be very careful with the gain, the w6V2's max power is not 500w, correct? (I know the 500/1 is matched to the 10W7)

First ,i need good Cd with good sound. and turn off my SUb. Then i turn all the midrange at good volume (average hearing). I start to tuning in my Sub volume to match midrange. Until i find it is the balance. I left the way it is and drive and listen for couple days. See how my music goes then I to make changes.
