Please help with sub/amp problem.
Okay I have an 05 tl non navi. I have been working for the past couple of days trying to get my JL audio 300/2 amp and 10w3v2 sub installed.
I have tried with an loc, and without (my amp has the switch to take high level input, you just need to splice a rca cable into the sub wires). No matter which method I try, I get the same problem. The amp powers on fine (at least the green light comes on) but no matter how I mess with the HU settings or amp settings, the sub barely gets any power. I have to put my hand on the sub to feel anything. I can't figure out what the problem is, and I really wanting to finish up with this project. It has already been on hold for 2 months while my car was at the dealer. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks in advance.

Responded to your PM...
Provided you set the signal sensitivity to properly turn on the amp, set the gain right, and set the filter properly... It should fire right up.
Otherwise, sounds like a bad amp.
Amp used?

man having a sub is awesome. I forgot how much I missed it. One question, should I turn the rotary control (which I think is the gain) up or down any? It came pointed sat 12:00, and turns both ways. I definately don't want to blow my speaker, but I don't wont to be wasting any potential power either.
