I am more interested on how you took the a-pillar off and how you wraped it in that fabrik. I wanna do mine in black because I have some cigarete burns in them, Just not sure how to take it all off.

Neat integration, but does it really sound better? The stock driver uses the windshield to reflect the sound -- this position looks like most of the sound is aimed squarely at the opposite side of the car. I'd think the imaging would be way worse.

If you want great imaging, the tweeters should've been angled a bit.

So Nick & Mike are my resident on & off axis tech support guru's, go ahead and ask away how to build your 5 digit $$$$$.$$ system's. my off axis dynaudio 3 way system sounded better than any around here especially after tuning. If either of you have any testing knowledge of these drivers (phass evo 28 & phass dtm25) please share, otherwise don't waste my space

Really? Looked like a statement to me too.

I think the work looks really clean.

I would be concerned about it being REALLY side biased though with the mid up there too. It is bad enough when the tweeter is on the pillar/dash.

Where is your midbass mounted? door?

Everyone has a different view of what sounds good. Trust me theres always somebody out that there car will sound better in one way or another. I think me and mike were jus saying the imaging would be off a bit. Guess you don't take constructive criticism well. Looks good man, great job, but to each his own. Here's a picture of my setup which is off axis a bit. Maybe your right, maybe those drivers you have need to be setup that way.

What is with the tweeter in the dash firing into the windshield? Doesn't that do some weird stuff with the Be tweet on axis?

That tweeter is just a dummie, I'm waiting for my factory speaker covers to come in from acura. The Be tweet is performing by itself with the 3'' and the 6.5 midbass in the door.

pillars

I think the positioning of yours for sq is easily tunable, and hands down with an assortment of many different drivers much easier to work with,

criticism I'm good with. my error for not sharing, I'm aware of your suggestions,

My setup for visual accomplishments met the goal I was after. I'm totally aware of imaging achievements and challenges that can & can't be made with the way my drivers are positioned. My first plan was to go opposite pillar to person relation, that would have been the ultimate, but could not be achieved esthetically with the amount of space behind the AT28 evo. I didn't want race car gauge pods or 44 double D boobs on the pillars. It may be choice to remove my mids and achieve my initial tweeter positioning and completely relocate the mids to another spot.

That angle was the "best" angle suggested by my builder. Sounds great!! I think he did an awesome install.
