Since the 08 already has an auxiliary input is the Pie x3 or any other audio aux input needed to get the sound from a media device ( dvd player, mediagate, ipod etc ) connected to Dom's uit. Anyone installed Dom's unit in an 08?? I have not found a thread yet. I found one on an 07 but the pictures were no longer in the thread for some reason. I believe the OP's name was Pravin george if I'm not mistaken

 

bump, i want to know the answer as well. Also where is the stock aux in in the 08 type s?!

 

^^ The auxiliary is in the center console. Lift up both tabs and its under the cigarette lighter.

I have the p&p unit and I actually wired mine to the auxiliary jack. I get very minimal whine, but not enough to make me spend the money for the pie x3.

 

Do the Canadian TL's from 07 and up have it because i can't seem to find it? I have an 08 TL type S...Thanks

 

Not sure if there is a difference, they should all be the same. Did you try to look in the center consol where the cig lighter was? I think thats were they all are.

 

it should look on the radio panel, you should have:
CD/Tape, XM/Aux, AM/FM and Disp Mode.
