Phone Keypad on navi screen

I was wondering, is there a way to get a keypad on the navi screen, punch in a number and hit call. Then it would just do the "Dialing the number received from the navigation system" routine.
I know that you can import a phonebook, I've done that, but it would be convenient to be able to dial your own numbers too. The voice recognition isn't always stellar on the freeway.

Thanks

Phil, you've got to press the HFL button and say "Dial XXX-XXX-XXXX". The HFL will read it back to you and then you confirm it. On the freeway, you might try closing the windows all the way and maybe crack open the sunroof. Mine works OK that way.

Thanks Steven, I was hoping there was an alternative, but ya i always close windows and sunroof. I figured since the navi had the ability to dial numbers, getting a keypad on there wouldn't be that much of a stretch feature/implementation wise.
