Phone Error Message on Non-Navi TL
On my '05 TL, my audio no longer works. Instead, it'll say "phone" and no matter what I do, it wont go away.
Suggestions?
Suggestions?
Sorry... confused
Is the TL saying "phone" and not letting you hear the stereo anymore? Or is it an error message on your phone?
Try running the diagnostics on the HFL system; I believe you hold the talk/yes button for 5 seconds and it will check itself - there's also a TSB out there for HFL units that keep the F-CAN or B-CAN bus active and will not release it; which can result in a low or dead battery.
Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 15 - 20 mins to see if that cures the problem?

Its saying Phone and not letting me use the stereo.
The phone itself is fine and works with other cars..
I'll try holding the talk/yes button as you suggested. If that doesn't work, I'll try disconnecting the battery.
