Which model TL do you have? If it is updated to the latest firmware .26 it should work on 2004-2006 Nav models. This was confirmed by peripheral electronics by email. If you go for it, let me know how it goes.

i picked up one at bb last week, installed it about 5 minutes ago. works fine... the box doesn't even say 04 to 06 tl on it, so I checked online to make sure the part number wasn't different.

It works with Nav, I have it installed in my car and so do a ton of other people on these forums. Make sure you upgrade to firmware .26 before installing.

Will BB update the firmware for you? I know it's easy to do at home... but if BB is installing it for you, then will they update it before installing?

I'm not too sure I would want to tackle a job like this myself!

I'd ask them, I think there is a sticker on the side that states what firmware is installed on it. If they don't update the firmware, take it home, update the firmware and then have them install it.

^^^If you have a 2007-2008 TL or TL-s with NAV TRAFFIC.....the vehicle specific harness supplied with the Peripheral device (in box) WILL NOT WORK properly!!!...you may encounter lag and freezing issues! A custom harness must be made from TONY @ Peripheral....please see this thread ---> https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ght=peripheral
