Palm one screen protectors for Navi?

Palm one screen protectors for Navi?
I just put a palm one screen protector on my 05 TL navigation. Does anyone know if the stickiness of this protector will harm the navigation screen? It does seem kinda sticky? I had to make a couple of cuts and use 3 of them since one doesn't fit :-)

Are you THAT worried about scratching it? Do you have long fingernails or something? Sounds a little tacky to me but thats just my $.02
I havent heard of any real problems with the screen being scratched due to normal use
