need help please
i need help pairing my samsung s6 edge+ to my 2006 acura tl non navi.
Went i have tried to pair my device it's not catching my device at all. What can i do??

You might not be able to pair the S6.

Choices include using an older phone with an operating system that is compatible with the HFL (check Acura's website for compatible phones) or an aftermarket Bluetooth.

... Or just using a dash mount and the phones own speaker phone. IMO easier just to do that. At least in my 05 since you can't even transfer contacts to the car. My phone can pair but I don't really even bother anymore.

Hey OP, FYI, I now have a Galaxy Note 5 and I have the same connection issue. I stopped bothering with this, i bought a Bluetooth receiver and plugged it to my 3.5mm input of the grom unit i had and it works great, my TL didnt support BT streaming of music but now it does

But, that's not an elegant solution!

It's amazing how much the new Bluetooth systems do-- accessing the phone contact list, streaming music, use of voice commands for phone contacts. The Kia Optima, BMW 328 and Chevy Traverse I had as rentals over the past few months all had much better Bluetooth functionality than the decade-old 3G TL.

That was mentioned in the last couple of posts of your thread that I linked.

Your phone's software is new and won't pair or work with the TL's Bluetooth system, a.k.a. "Hands Free Link"(HFL).

Your alternatives are to mount the Samsung S6 to a phone holder in the car so you can use the phone's speakerphone or to install a new aftermarket Bluetooth setup in the car.
