Pairing Process Does Not Complete
Okay this is weird, i have a T637 and paired my phone when i got the car about 5 months ago easily, but all of a sudden today, i turn on BT but it did not recognize my phone, so i go into the HFL phone setup menu and say "Status" and it says my phone is okay. But the little icon isnt shower on the information display above the navi screen.
So I turn off BT on my phone, remove the key from the ignition, and then try again to see if it will notice my phone when i turn on BT...nothing.
So i go into phone setup, and delete my phone from the system. Then go back agian into phonesetup and start the pairing process. I state my preferred 4 digit pass code, then it repeats it to me and to confirm i say "Yes"...then 2 seconds after i say YES, i hear the "beep" sound you usually hear when you press cancel on the wheel. ...i was like..what the, this this didnt happen before. So i try 4 more times and it the same thing happens again. (and yes im sure im not pressing the cancel "hang up" button.)
So im pissed, so i go into system, and cleared everything. go to Security and check if i have any locks on. None. Then i try to pair again....same out come.
Gah, whats going on?!?!

delete any other headset profile
If you recently purchased a bluetooth handsfree, like the Jabra, you must delete it from the phone first. Then re-pair to the car.
Sony phones can only handle one BT handsfree profile

Upon starting the other day, my 9 month old TL flatlined the temp display, and put the Climate Control settings in Dual mode with the fan at max. No way I would have left the CC in that setting. Others have had similar experiences with the temp indicator and the CC. More on your point, additionally, though my blue tooth phone (Moto V710) still worked in HFL, the phone icon on the dash no longer displayed. Also, the functionality of the phone buttons degraded during that day to the point that eventually I couldn't always hang up properly. I also went through multiple pairing cycles. Though the HFL would work (well, at least to some degree), the phone icon has never come back. I even had Verizon swap out the V710 since mine was an early model with several known issues, and that didn't help. I am already scheduled for the B service this week and will certainly push to get these issues fully resolved.

My phones were working fine but i deleted them to test something out. when i tried to pair the phones i got passsed the part where i enter the code but...... when it asked me what do i want to name the phone, the system either heard my response and said "nokia" sounds like" nokia" please try another name. DUH! of course nokia sounds like nokia. mind you that the phone was already deleted. OR it didnt hear my response at all. i waited a half hour and tried again and it worked. now i have to try my other phone.
