Outgoing Calls with HFL?

All of the BT headsets I've used in the passed allow me to make a call from my phone and automatically switch to the headset. For some reason, HFL doesn't do this.

I'm currently using a T616. Has everyone experienced the same behavior with other phones? I'm looking at upgrading to a T637 to see if it makes a difference.

You could either use HFL or your phone to dial. If you dial from your phone, your call won't be transferred to HFL until you command "transfer".

Yeah, I've used the transfer button on my phone and the transfer command in HFL. Pretty hokey at best. I have almost 100 entries in my phone book and I can't put them all in to HFL. Also, sometimes I want to make a quick call from someone who just called from the Caller ID list on my phone. In both these situations would work better if HFL picked up the call from the beginning. Again, EVERY BT headset does this.

Unfortunately, HFL cannot do this as you wish at this moment. Some ppl even like to have small keyboard built-in with Navi or over the console.

The limited 50 phone-book system is definitely not enough. It cannot transfer any phonebooks from your phone-device to HFL memory, either.

HFL is totally different to Headset profile/feature...

mobilezen may know more about essence of these features.
