Hey guys, I recently purchased an 07 TL-S from a private dealer and I'm still trying to work out some of the issues. Through research on here I've discovered that the car didn't come with a Navi disc. I'm still trying to figure out if I need an update disc(or which one) as that's separate than the white disc that stays in there. In the meantime I'm curious as to whether having no disc inserted should not allow some functions?

For instance through the HFL/steering wheel controls I paired my phone and have added a few numbers, however on the navi screen the Phonebook option is greyed out and it won't let me "click" on it. Basically all I can do on my Navi screen is Audio related options(station select, source select, etc.) Is this normal and should I have full function of my Navi screen when it is updated and a white disc installed? Thanks.

 

Lol am I the only one who's driven the car w/o a navi disc in the car?
