Optima Battery Fitment for 4th Gen TL

I just made another post about acura covering the battery.. anyway as i was also searching i did not find any definitive answers as to what optima battery fits in the 4th gen TL so i thought a trhead would be nice for people who have ACTUALLY used what batter and what they had to do to make it fit if anything.
I understand the REDTOP 34R.. fits perfectly however they do not make a 34R in a yellow top??

Also i read some people use the 34/78 or just 34.. but you need to extend some wires or something? Does anyone have any exact information about this procedure how hard it may be etc?? Perhaps some pix??

Lastly, after reading about the batterys and sizes etc.. i see that the YELLOW TOP D35.. is just a tad bit smaller but has the reverse post.. unlike the regular 34.. Has anyone actually used the D35??? Im trying to decide which battery i can get and the best fitment.. I believe all the D35, 34R and 34/34-78 Would be able to fit in the TL.. with the regular 34 requiring a little modification since the posts r on the opposite sides thanx!

I have the yellow top in my 4gen TL LOL. Sits right next to the flux capacitor LOL

Just kidding. I really do have one. A yellow top that is, fits fine but the posts are reversed. The cables still reach however. I have alot of junk in my trunk, 2 amps, carPC, etc. I had it over a year now with no problems.

I also have the Yellow top. When I bought my 08 TL-S I pulled it out of my old TSX. The battery was only 6 months old. Fitment wasn't quite exact. Could not put the battery case back on. But the cross bar was fine. Good luck.

obviously people have used them..
the question is WHAT MODEL do u have and what did u have to do to make it work.. after looking at pix.. ive came to the conclusion

REDTOP=34R
YELLOWTOP = D35

are both a direct fit
