Ok i just noticed this problem...!!!

Just came across this problem last night..

Has anyone experienced the HFL not connecting with the phone after the phone has been turned off? I say this because my battery went dead and when i turned it back on, it worked on the first call as normal after i said "Transfer", however, after that i noticed that i didn't see the phone icon up on the display on the dash. Then after that i tried to do it again, and it says something about "their is no phone paired up,etc..." Can someone help?

have you put your phone in search mode?

I had problems before w/ my SE Z600 that it would not pair. In order for pairing to work, both HFL and your phone have to be in search mode.

But is this what happens once my phone cuts off and then is back on and i get in the car? Because before this happened, i wasn't having any trouble at all. How do i get the car back into "search mode"?

And i wonder if it has anything to do with the battery being dead or almost dead?

Turning the car off, waiting a few seconds, then turning it back on works for me.

I know -- that's exactly what I thought when I tried it and it worked. Sheesh, now I gotta reboot my car to get things to work too!
