Here lately my car has been acting pretty weird when it comes to the electrical system. For the longest time if my wipers are on and I make a turn the wipers will pick up in speed just until I'm done executing the turn. Then I noticed my driver side window will roll half way down when I use the auto roll then roll back up. It's only done that a handful of times but still odd.

Then last week I went out to unlock the car and the doors wouldn't unlock so I had to pop off the cover over the key hole to manually unlock the car. Figuring it was the door lock actuator I picked one up and was going to install it on my next off day. The very next day my door unlocks with the fob so I get in and half of my radio presets are on something completely different and my circulating heat was on (I've never used that) figuring maybe it was my girlfriend messing with my I ignored it and left to work. After work I went to unlock the doors with no luck again so I unlocked manually, after starting the car my presets were back to normal and my defrosters were on? Got home and wanted to sleep on it, went to leave the next day and wall was back to normal. Doors unlock as they should and no more weird issues with the heat/air or radio or drivers side window. Wipers still pick up speed from time to time but everything else has been good for about a week.

Anyone have any of these issues and know a fix or an idea of what could have been going on?

Check your battery or alternator.

low voltage battery or a bad voltage regulator in the alt leads to very strange behaviors..


also your driver's side window regulator MAY be on it's way out.. but do the first two first

Both alternator and battery are new, as for connections I'm sure I can clean them up a bit although they don't look bad at all
