Occasional buzzing Sound coming from one tweeter... what could be causing this

For the past two months I will get a random buzzing sound coming from the driver side tweeter, it is completely random I can't seem to pin it to anything. It does seem like it is actually the front left channel as a whole because after I unplug the tweeter I can hear some coming from the main speaker but is not nearly as bad. I am not talking about a low buzzing sound either it is pretty obnoxious to the point I will usually turn my radio off or really loud to drown it out. Sometimes turning the radio off and then on will make it go away. I have no idea what it could be, I tried switching the tweeters to see if the tweeter was the problem but it didn't help. The only other thing I can imagine is the wire is getting interference or the amp is bad... your thoughts?

My guess - stock amp. It sends the same signal to the 6.5 and the tweeter - the tweeter used a capacitor to filter out the "lower" frequencies.

that is what I was leaning too as well, I do have aftermarket tweeters and it never did it before I changed them. But the right channel never does this so I tend to think it has to be an amp problem. What do those aftermarket plug and play amps cost... i thought i saw a vendor on here selling them... how hard is it to use aftermarket? instead of a factory amp?

I would steer clear of the pnp RF amps. There are literally TONS of amps that are small enough that I could hide it somewhere where you would never know it was there and give you 2-3x the power and be able to run a 2ohm load

i might just go stock as far as i know there aren't to many amps you could use and keep the factory center. I feel like for me it is more trouble than it is worth especially when i can get a used stock amp for 40

Just keep the factory amp in there for the center and rears. Either way...factory amp sucks and who says the other one won't take a dump on ya in a year. Just a thought

oh okay that is a very good idea I have no idea why I didn't think of that, so all i need is a 2 channel amp that can take a 2 ohm input? Sorry for my ignorance I really don't know too much about this or at least how the tl's system is set up. Do you have any recommendations, all I really care is that it is a little better than stock and be reliable, price is my biggest concern.

Arc KS125.2 Mini
JL XD200/2
Precision Power P600.2

Take a look at those for starters. The PPI will be cheapest, but the ARC and JL will be nicer.
