For those of you who have done the conversion, can you mix up the parts from year to year? From what I can tell all the parts have the same part numbers except for the dvd trunk unit.

I would think it wouldn't matter, but then again the MID is different in the newer cars. And since it's all integrated that could pose a problem.

Anyone know? Sorry if this is a noob question, I searched and searched.

 

I'm gunna take a stab in the dark and say no .. you cannot. The MIDs are integrated on a binary level to the BECU and navigation unit, so I'd wait and see if someone smarter than me knows.. I've done plenty of work on '04-'06 TL's with data-bus connections and each model year is different.
