Nokia 6620
Nokia 6620
I posted this problem in another thread, but I was advised to make a separate thread concerning this problem. I bought my 2004 TL a year ago and waited until Cingular carried a phone that I liked and that had Bluetooth. I chose the Nokia 6620 based on reviews and Nokia's reputation. I have waited a year to be able to use the TL's HFL, but I cannot pair my 6620 with the TL. And, yes, I followed the instructions explicitly (including turning on the phone's Bluetooth and making it discoverable). I read in this forum that the 6620 would pair, but I can't make it work. And, this particular phone is not listed on Acura's site as being compatible. http://tinyurl.com/489nl
I emailed Nokia tech support--they said it was Acura's problem. I emailed Acura--and, you guessed it--they said it was Nokia's problem. I am angrier at Acura for not really understanding the technology before making it available. And, of course, the local dealer was of absolutely no help. I really like this phone, but I guess that I will have to trash it and pick another that works.
