i have an 06 tl, sadly it wasn't equip with the nav, i was told that i could have on but on at a later time. a few months later i asked so dude in the parts about how much cash it would take, he then told me the car would have to be shipped off blaa blaa blaa....(some where in there talking about installing mics for voice commands.... car already has that....) any way im on ebay and come across an 04-06 Acura TL Navigation Screen 6 CD Radio w/Climate unit...now aside from the back up camera (put that on later) was that parts guy just talking out his ass and it can be put in...or am i just out of luck??

Are you trying to get the stock navi? If so you're going to pay out the assets! I have an 05 w/o navi. I put in an aftermarket DVD/navi set up taking the place of the stock radio. Trust me, with a little bit of work you'll save a lot of money.

 

Go double-din with a custom DDin trim piece (some peeps are successfully using a modified Pontiac GTO trim piece) and go Kenwood

I have the entire oem nav setup (minus the harnesses) that is just sitting in a box at home. I think about whether or not I really want to do it everyday now. If I had the harnesses, I'm sure I'd do it.
