Smile Newbie Questions

Hi everybody, I'm new here and still learning.

I have a Honda Odyssey 06 and a Acura TL 08. Can I copy the newer version of the NAVI DVD from the Acura TL and use it in my Honda? Acura's website says it should be compatible, but do the manufacturers put restrictions on?

Also, if I do copy it, should I burn it as a DVD-ROM?

Thanks.

Each year and car model have a different color disc- and a different version series number
In the past they were not interchangable- and copying is illegal unless making a backup for storage/emergency
There are security levels built into the disc~
Otherwise everyone would have the newest version every year for free instead of $200

Who told you they were swappable?
Did you pull both disc and check the color and version
Key ON- not running- open dvd drive in trunk and hit eject- look at disc.
It reboots itself when you slip the disc back in - and does not lose any info you had stored.
