new project, i have some questions

So my TL is non-navi . I really regret the fact that I didnt get navi, but its too late to change that. My brother has this Pioneer Avic-N1 that he took out of his truck thats just sitting around. I want to put that into my TL but I dont want to ruin the look of the whole center console by taking out the current factory radio. I also dont want to lose the bluetooth function.

My questions are:
1. Has anyone done something like this before on their TL?

2. I saw somebodys Accord this way. What do you think of the idea of putting in a flipscreen where the clock currently is?

Thats something similar to what it would look like.

3. Is there a flip out screen that smaller than the DIN size? If the Avic-N1 is too big to put in there (considering that the center speaker is also there taking up space) Id still like to put in a screen.

Thanks for all your help

Oh and Im pretty sure someone will wind up saying just convert to Navi, the reason I'm not going to convert it to navi is because it costs like a $1000 or more, or so I think. Im on a budget since Im 18 and need to pay tuition too. Doing this will only cost a minimal amount or at least i think, just a dremel and some wires.

instead, you could do a car PC. use the search function, keyword carputer and you will get alot of results. Some have moved that radio display down to those 2 flippy compartments and put a xenarc screen in the location of the stock screen, and hooked it up to a carputer.

Sunny, check out this thread...this is pretty much what I want but if the whole "computer" thing is too much then I might just want the screen and use it for other functions if possible....

Keep me posted because I'm looking to do something similar to my car.
