New Option for Sirius/MP3 Intergration

I saw that this was just released from Blitzsafe. It is the HONAUXDMXV2, basically the 2nd version of this product line, now with compatibility for 2004-2005 TL's (and possibly 2006's) WITH NAVIGATION. However, you lose your XM when you install it. From the desciption on the site:

"The Blitzsafe HON/AUX DMX V.2, the followup replacement device to the HON/SNY ITI V.2, is an auxiliary input converter that is designed to work with selected Acura and Honda vehicles (see specific vehicle application list below) that have the navigation option. This allows you to plug in an external audio source, like a portable MP3 player, satellite tuner, DVD player, or iPod. "

For 99 bucks it may be a good Sirius/MP3 player solution. Here is the link: http://www.logjamelectronics.com/blitzhonauxdmxv2.html or click HERE

Has anyone tried it yet? Or plan to try it?

Patrick

I agree.

I think this product was just released a few weeks ago and I was hoping someone would have tried it. It looks to be a great hardwired solution for Sirius and/or MP3 / IPOD solutions.... There is an add-on that enables up to 3 Auxillary inputs, so there are alot of options....

I would wait until next month to see what features the acura version has. They announced an ipod integration kit due in December

Hopefully it will integrate the navi display with the mp3 info from the player

Supposedly it will, but I want both Sirius and MP3/Ipod.... I wonder if the adapter will work the IPod device also...

By The Way, I was at the dealer yesterday before I pick up my 06 TL next week, and they said intergrations would not happen before January.....
