There is no double-din for the TL.

Custom only I'm afraid. A double din *will* fit. The issue is the knobs that poke out to the side. You need to take off the trim, fill the holes and cover the result. 3m 3d vinyls are popular for such things. Then you'll need to fab a cover plate. Nothing terribly complex, just not something you can buy.

I thought the double-din's were pretty difficult to fit because we don't have much depth behind the dash also?? I wish it was easier to install something aftermarket. I would get rid of the stock in a heartbeat

There is no depth behind the nav screen, it has to go where the hu is currently. So a non-navi is a little easier. Plus there is a board in the HU that you need for the navi. Its possible to remove the board, install another HU and keep the navi functional though.
