New Key
An OEM key costs 45 bucks cut for free; programming the immobilizer so it can actually start your car is extra.
Key fob I would just get a used OEM one off ebay - a new key fob will look banged up after a year so might as well get one already banged up for about 25 bucks.
The OEM key fob will retain memory seat function - aftermarket keyfobs don't.
Thanks for the info... So these keys don't have technology in them to start the car and not just turn the starter? I had a key made for a 90s maxima and it only turned the starter without cranking. I'll definitely get a used fob online as all the reviews say they are easily programmable.

Lots of locksmiths now carry the technology to program the immobilizer so that it will start your car.
Back in the day only the dealer was really able to program the car's ECU to accept the immobilizer I believe.
I'm not sure how the locksmiths program the immobilizer - I'm guessing they either now have the tools to program the car's ECU or they clone the immobilizer from key #1 to key #2. Probably the latter.
