New Dice install, Nav on the fritz
New Dice install, Nav on the fritz
Hi everyone,
Wanted to get your input. I installed the DICE unit about a month ago. Everything is going smooth except for today. THe nav screen went blank and would not respond to the buttons.
We turned the car off, turned it on and it boots, but there are screen blurs and it doesn't look quite right. Has anyone had this issue at all? I am hoping that it isn't related to the DICE.
Also, having installed the DICE unit, will it void the warranty if I send it to the dealer to check the Nav?
Thanks,
Rog

yea, that could DEFINITELY be a case of the dealership telling you to 'piss off' from a modification. if ever you think an aftermarket item may be the root of the problem. remove it...
hell, remove it, and if the nav is back to normal.. you just answered your own question.

Thanks for your input. So I disconnected the battery and let the nav reset. When I first had installed the dice, i was in the garage and didn't move it out. I'm not sure if the signal was good to begin with.
Anyway, I have been checking it so it is working again so far. IF it continues I will pull the dice unit out. I really don't want to do that.
