New battery...need code?

I recently replaced my battery and now my navigation is asking me for a code in order to start the system. Can anyone tell me where I can find this code?

Both the navigation and radio codes are on a plastic card included with the owner's manual package. Some people put the card inside the leatherette cover; others write the codes in the owner's manual or navi manual and put the card at home.
Service department personnel may place a sticker with the codes onto the side of the car's glove box, where the sticker is visible when the glove box is open.
Also, if your TL was registered on ownersacura.com by a prior owner, the security codes may be recorded there as well.

If the code is not here, I recommend you putting them there once you find them. Great safe place to keep them.

Turns out that the serial number i got isnt really the code. You call the dealership and give them that number then they will give you a five number code. Then you put it in useing ur presets..1,2,3,4,5,6, at the code screen.

Look on the cap of the fuse box under the hood. That is where mine is. I had it confirmed the last time I took mine (06) to the dealer. The NAVI and the RADIO code is there.

This is always a tough one since every dealer has a different process. I've found the sticker under the fuse box lids (interior and under hood), in the glove box, in the new owner packet and in the owners manual. A dealer can access it by radio serial number or you may call 800-382-2238 and they can access it by VIN if you don't want to pull the radio out. They will ask questions to confirm you are the owner of the vehicle.

Yep, that is where mine was. You must have bought your TL at Acura of OP.

The original owner(s) did buy it there.

There are two codes. One for navigation and other for radio. Navigation code u can punch into the screen. Radio code is entered on ur preset keys on ur radio (example. Preset # 1, 2, 3, etc.). Call any Acura dealer and they can help.
