Need help w/Viper remote fob......very confused.

I bought a used 07 TL-S on Sat 2/1 and it came w/ a Viper alarm. I have no idea what model alarm it is, but it does have remote start and paging. I know thats not a lot of info, but the issue is w/ my remote which looks like this:
http://www.viper.com/img/products/detail/7752v-1.png

The Switchblade OEM key fob works w/ the Viper alarm, so I dont carry the Viper remote.

I noticed tonight that if I use the Viper remote, when I press either unlock or lock, I hear a loud "error" sounding beep and on the screen it says press F. When I press F it shows press unlock. I do and everything is fine, but a few mins later the same beep and I have to press F and Unlock again to use it. This happens over and over, starting to get annoying. This started a couple days ago when I adjusted the time on it.

Anyone know about these Viper remotes?

I downloaded a few manuals as I don't know what model alarm I have, but none of them mention this issue.

its like a safety thing so if buttons get pressed by accident it wont work, you can turn that feature off, its annoying but its useful lol

I didn't think of that, that's actually kinda cool.
Do you know which option to turn off? The remote UI is not that good.

And I looked online and through the many manuals I downloaded and there isn't a mention of this safety feature.

i think on viper you hold the f button and it takes you through the settings but google viper 5901 or 5902 use manual and it should be in there keypad lock or remote lock
