hope i posted in right area...so my main remote on the viper 5901 remote recently ran out of battery and went completely dead, i recharged it and now it wont function at all, but my spare remote works just fine, i tried to unplug the battery to see if it resets, i also turned the remote off then back on but no help, anyone have any ideas?

 

Not sure about the 5901 but the 5902 has a small hole on the back used to reset the cpu, you might want to give it a shot.

 

did you buy your 5901 directly from an authorized viper installer?

 

Just a guess: your remote wil have to be reprogrammed to the unit in the car.

 

Replace the battery it worked for me.
