I was wondering if anyone know how to adjust the headlights for the 05 TL's? I wanted to lower mine cause it's shining way to high, or if anyone has instructions how, I saw on the site someone had it but I can't find it now.... thanks

in the engine compartment, there is a little hole in the battery cover with up and down with arrows written on it, put in a long philips screw driver and twist in the direction needed. The same is for the passenger side, look on the covers for the up and down letters and arrows.

Disclaimer!! Disclaimer!!! 01tl4tl is gen jumping again!!

If its the same as gen2, look on the back of the housing- are there 2 plastic ridges that form a V going down to a metal washer with teeth and a small bolt head holding it in?
That metal part is the gear you want to turn
Because these gears need to mesh at a 45 degree angle- take your Phillips + screwdriver and follow the V down- then angle the screwdriver backwards till its "teeth" mesh with the gear. Turn the screwdriver- probably left- counter-clockwise from the drivers point of view- to lower the beam
Pull it in front of a wall to have referance points

gen 3 may be put the tool straight in- I dont know- take a flashlight and check it out
