Need help with Isimple iphone adapter

I bought the isimple iphone adapter for a 2007 TL-S. I got the one ending in 2 which installs in the truck off the xm sat module. I connected it up and waited five minutes without touching the radio for it to sync up. It didn't do anything. When I turned on the radio I noticed the xm buttons on the screen were missing. I have had it installed for the past few days. I figured maybe it would magically pop up. There is really only one way to connect this thing. I know I got it right. I also disconnected the batter for the install. So anybody have any suggestions or is this thing a piece of crap?

That's not surprising since you are both the same person.

I need a reply to the email I sent.

im trying to research how to get mine to work... it sounds like i need a specific harness #PGHHD2C. That harness is compatible with Navtraffic (which is what our 07 TL-S has). i think im gonna order it and have it reinstalled.

I have this same problem. Mine worked fine for about 5 days, now my XM buttons are gone too. However, a few car restarts and it's back and fully functional. I'm guessing it's a bad unit, but not sure.

Anyone else know what's wrong?

actually I will suggest to buy a aftermarket GPS with a the function you want. Like pioneer, have a lot of function ( GPS, ipod, sound eq, .......) and can show a lot of languages.

I'm sorry, but why would I buy an aftermarket GPS to correct my iPod interface problem? There is nothing wrong with my navigation unit, there is nothing wrong with my video converter and there is nothing wrong with my XM radio (when the iSimple is functioning correctly, or not installed)....

Just don't understand where you're coming from I guess.
