Need Help Doing a Navigation Hack

...here is the catch though...it is for my 2007 GMC Sierra SLT with factory installed navigation. Is there anyone who can lead me somewhere or help me out with this. I am simply looking for 2 things...

First, be able to use my Navi on the fly (like the Acura). Dang thing has to be under 5 mph for the destination features to work.

Second, be able to use my DVD drive to play DVD's and not just the DVD-Navi disc.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, it isn't an Acura, but you guys are a hell of a lot smarter than the truck guys over on the other forum. Thanks for the assisstance guys.

I'll let this slide for once here.

Do you know the manufacturer of the navi system? My guess is that you need to trick the Vehicle speed sensor in the navi to be think you are going 5MPH instead of 60 when driving to access the features. Also for the dvd you would have to buy something like dom's tvnav2go.

That is definitely good information. I will check into the dvd conversion tool. I guess maybe I should try to find a wiring diagram. I am sure there is a wire in there that could probably just get grounded to take care of the on-the-fly problem.
