Neat utility to split DTS files into 6 WAVs
After spending many hours trying to split DTS (CD) files with arcane utilites such as ACIDTS, Hypercube and others, I gave up and went on the hunt for another method.
I came across this free little proggy called TRANZCODE which is a simple splitter. It splits 5.1 DTS files either 44.1kHz or the 48kHz from a DVD into six separate wavs it and can also downmix to stereo.
There is something GOOD about a simple program that specializes in one task without trying to be all things to all people.
Tranzcode saves the files as 32bit floating point WAVs so you'll want to use a sample rate convertor to resample it to 24bit. I have made DVDAs without resampling first and they did work. Maybe someone can chime in here since I didn't think you could use a 32bit file on a DVDA.
Here's the linky

The DVD-A Script Guy
Nice find.
I don't have that much in the way of DTS sources but that download site looks to have much candy on it. I can see myself browsing lots of those pages there.
WRT to 32 bit I thought that was outside the DVD-A spec as well. So all I can speculate is that the burning tool may have done some resampling for you. I just quickly made a 32bit wav. My GUI rejected it since I only take 16, 20 and 24 bit files. But, Cirlinca DVD Audio Solo took it. It seemed to recognize it as a 16bit file.
