Thanks

The navigation system will be included in your TL Type-S. You do not need to pay extra for it. However, every year, there are updated navigation DVD's that you can purchase.

You will get a 3 month subscription to XM Nav for up to the minute (supposedly) traffic alerts, but you'll have to pay for that feature if you decide to keep it. Otherwise it just runs off of the dvd in your trunk as mentioned.

I've made it a point to upgrade my nav maps ever "other" year on this car and my previous cars with navi. I still don't really notice a big difference in the maps. I just went from the 2006 to the 2008 version, and the street my house is on, is still not in the software

How are you inputting an address to Go Home? I just picked up a 2k6 with Nav and my entire subdivision isnt on the DVD. I just ordered the upgrade online but am doubtful my home will be on this release too. It would be cool if the software actually allowed you to set your home location based on current location but it doesn't seem to work if the current location is not a verified road.

Am I missing something?
