Navigation Question-will it find specific restaurants?

I know the navigation system will locate restaurants nearest to where you are. Plus, it will find specific styles of restaurants, like Chinese, Mexican, Fast Food, etc. But is there a way to find specific restaurant chains, like an Applebee's or McDonalds with the navigation system?

Category/restaurants/find by name (lowest rectangle on the screen) should do it.

The only fly in the ointment is if the people who coded the navi disc mis-spelled the name of the locations, or if a place is too new to appear on the disc.

Thanks Will. So you can't say, "Find nearest McDonalds?"

Not for the '04-'06 models; IDK for the '07+ Navis.
I think the place name can be spelled out verbally on the later years, but the letters have to be entered via keyboard/joystick on the '04-'06 models.

Why not just go try it and see? I'm pretty sure the answer is "no," however.
