So on my 06 last night I started the car and the navi screen was like a disco show. The screen was black with white vertical rectangles flashing on and off real fast. The small clock area up above works, but no radio details on it work. Took the cd out of the dvd player in the trunk and still have the constant flashing. Is this screen or dvd player related??

 

Update, this morning came back on with security code screen. Put it in and everything worked for about 15 min. Then just started flashing the rebooting screen with the Acura logo. I am assuming it is the cd drive.

 

I have a 2005 TL and I was getting the "disk reading error" so I sent it in to Alpine and have them fix it. It lasted for 35 days and now I'm having the flickering screen like yourself. I would guess it is the DVD unit in the trunk. I need to check the connections/plug-ins in the back of the trunk unit. Let me know if you find out anything OK?
