Hello all ! I'm new to this forum and have been reading a lot. There's a lot of great information about TL's here. My car is a 2006 TL Navi automatic...I was reading the sticky note about Navi hacks and was wondering if someone could shed a little light on what the hacks actually do. Can someone please tell me what the "Welcome Screen"....."Trip Computer"...and "OK Button" hacks do ?

Welcome Screen:
Changes the image from the acura logo to whatever you want when the navi boots up.
Trip Computer: adds a trip computer onto the navi screen which as an instant MPG meter, trip info and other various items
OK button: Hack to stop pushing the 0k button on startup and the navi just loading as if you did push the OK button.

I personally wish I could find out how to do this on my 07 TL-S... oh well

 

yes it does, as long as the DVD is orange and is version 3.xx, the hacks will work.

 

are you sure? becuase i was reading through it and it said.....

AngryDad's trip computer patch (for v3.50)
or
Kennyc's modified version (for v3.40c)


and im neither of those versions.. so which would i use?
