I was wondering if somebody had a step-by-step layout of how to hack a 3.40a Navi for the TL. I am new to this stuff so it would be nice to have it. Thanks!

 

I'm still trying to get this hack cuase i also have the 3.40a and doesn't seem like anyone has done the A. only c and newer....hopefully someone can help....

 

Im in the same boat as you. Trying to sort through all the old threads with outdated links isnt any help. All i want to do is mod my nav! But this stupid dumpnav shit doesn't work. (Old versions) I dont know, but its frustrating.

 

the dumpnavi doesn't work because the patch files are larger than the old files, you will need to use that program "cebin" to alter the files. I can't remember exactly how to do it but there was a thread on here with a step by step a WHILE ago.

Alright, this is getting annoying as hell. Does anyone know of any STEP BY STEP guide? I have the 3.30 version, and its next to impossible to do anything with it, no matter what program I try or advice I follow, I just get errors in applications while trying to mod the files (simple things like the F***ing loading screen!!).

Is it easier to mod the navi If i just went out and bought the newest nav disk??

 

Thats what i was thinking as all request to help on the 3.40a version is non existing. Getting the 3.60 disk then following the sticky available seems to be our best bet.
