I have a great fix for the Navigation problem In Europe. We have been stationed here for the last 3 years and we are about to PCS. Our solution was the Alpine Vehicle Hub, the Honda/NAVTV adapter for the Alpine Vehicle Hub and Alpine Blackbird Dock. It is a fairly straight forward install and works similar to the Factory system (use a remote rather than touch screen to enter addresses but the interface is almost exactly the same). The main benefit is the ability to retain the functionality of the Factory systems and U.S. Navigation while retaining the Factory Look. We are moving back to the states and no longer have a need for this system.
