Question Navigation DVD 3.4 version

Has anyone purchased the new navigation 3.4 update? I believe it came out recentley. The cost is expensive..$185 plus shipping and handling from Acura. Does anyone know where else I might be able to find a copy for less? I have a 05 and the current Navi software doesn't cover new home areas that are three years old. I use the Navi for work all the time, so I might just have to fork out the money...

I purchased the new version 3.40c last Thursday. To help offset the $185, I sold my 3.30G on eBay for $90....

I have seen version 3.40c going on eBay anywhere from $120-$135.

And you have 3.40 if you have an '05...

anyone know if there is a newer version than 3.3c coming out this year? I don't want to buy the 3.4c disc and then later this year a newer version comes out.

how do I know what version I have. I just bought the car last month, pre-owned. It is an '05, but I have no idea when in 05 it was bought or built.

Does it tell you on screen somewhere or do I have to pop out the disk?

Thanks.

And if I do need the disk, can't copies be made between us so we don't all have to shell out the $185?

Thanks.

ok I found I have 3.40A.. I guess I need to update?
The Acura site doesn't say what version it is selling you, not that I saw?

Am I better off going to Ebay?
What is the latest version? 3.40C or 3.40D ??

Thanks.
